CHAMELO MARATHON CHALLENGE - TERMS & CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY (beyond initial sunglasses purchase to participate).
1. ELIGIBILITYOne redemption per person. Void where prohibited.
2. HOW IT WORKSComplete a marathon (26.2 miles) wearing your Chamelo sunglasses between [START DATE] and [END DATE]. Submit proof. Get store credit equal to what you paid for those sunglasses.
3. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTSYou must submit all of the following:
  • Photo(s) of you wearing Chamelo sunglasses during the marathon (must clearly show your face and the sunglasses)
  • Post to Instagram/Facebook/TikTok with #RunWithChamelo and tag @hellochamelo (or email screenshot if private account) OR email photo to [email protected]
  • Your original Chamelo order number
  • Marathon name and date
  • Race bib number
Sponsor may request additional proof including race results, finisher certificate, or other verification.
4. PHOTO REQUIREMENTSPhotos must be authentic, unedited, and show you actually wearing Chamelo sunglasses during the event. Photos must include identifiable marathon elements (bib, course markers, finish line, etc.). AI-generated, photoshopped, manipulated, or fraudulent photos will be rejected.
5. QUALIFYING MARATHONSOfficial organized marathons only (26.2 miles). Must occur during program period. Half marathons, virtual marathons, and relay marathons do not qualify (unless Sponsor approves).
6. VERIFICATION & APPROVALSponsor has sole discretion to determine whether any submission meets program requirements. Sponsor may reject any submission for any reason including but not limited to:
  • Photos that appear altered, AI-generated, or inauthentic
  • Insufficient proof of marathon completion
  • Inability to verify purchase from Chamelo
  • Returned or refunded sunglasses
  • Suspected fraud or rule violations
  • Inappropriate content
  • Any other reason determined by Sponsor
Sponsor’s decision is final and binding. No appeals will be accepted. Sponsor has no obligation to provide reasons for rejection.
7. FRAUDULENT SUBMISSIONSSubmitting fake photos, AI-generated images, photos of another person, false purchase information, or engaging in any fraudulent conduct will result in immediate disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to report fraud to authorities and ban participants from future Chamelo programs.
8. REWARD DETAILSApproved participants will receive store credit equal to the purchase price paid for the sunglasses worn during the marathon (not current retail price if different).Store credit terms:
  • Issued within 30 days of approval as promotional code
  • Valid 6 months from date of issuance
  • Redeemable at chamelo.com only
  • No cash value, cannot be transferred or sold
  • Single use only (unused portion forfeits)
  • May not be combined with certain other promotions
Participants who fail to respond to verification requests within 7 days forfeit eligibility.
9. CONTENT LICENSE & USAGE RIGHTSBy participating, you grant Sponsor a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your submitted photos and your name, likeness, and image for any purpose including advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes in any media. You will not be entitled to any compensation beyond the store credit offered through this program.
10. LIABILITY RELEASEBy participating, you release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, and agents from any liability, claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or related to:
  • Your participation in this program
  • Your marathon participation
  • Receipt or use of store credit
  • Any injury, illness, or property damage
  • Technical failures or lost submissions
  • Any other matter related to this program
You acknowledge that marathon participation involves inherent risks and that you participate at your own risk. Sponsor has no control over marathon events, race conditions, or safety measures.
11. WARRANTIES DISCLAIMEDStore credit and program participation are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
12. TAX RESPONSIBILITYYou are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on store credit received.
13. PROGRAM MODIFICATIONSSponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this program at any time for any reason. Sponsor may modify these terms at any time with changes effective upon posting. If the program is terminated, Sponsor will honor store credit already issued to verified participants but has no obligation to accept pending submissions.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTIONThese terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR STATE]. Any disputes must be brought within one (1) year in the courts of [YOUR COUNTY, STATE]. You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
15. GENERAL PROVISIONSIf any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision does not waive its right to enforce that or any other provision.This program is not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any marathon organizing body.
